The Westmoreland Teachers Association is proud to recognize Madison Robinson as the September 2026 Student of the Month.

Each month, all members of the junior class are initially eligible for the WTA Student of the Month award. Award winners are selected by Westmoreland faculty and staff based on three criteria:

  • A minimum academic average of 80

  • Good citizenship and character

  • Active participation in school and community activities

Madison is an outstanding example of a student who demonstrates each of these qualities. She is actively involved in numerous school activities, including National Honor Society, Marching Band, Drama Club, Tri-M, Jazz Band, Select Chorus, Broadway Voices, and Track & Field.

In addition to her involvement, Madison has taken on several leadership roles throughout the school. She serves as the Membership Chairperson for Tri-M, Secretary and Dance Captain for Drama Club, and a member of the Marching Band Leadership Team.

Madison's commitment to serving others extends well beyond the classroom. She has volunteered her time for numerous organizations and events, including the J-Rob Golf Tournament, Westmoreland School Summer Camp, Boilermaker finish line, Nutcracker auditions, Mohawk Valley Performing Arts, Country Pantry, Operation Christmas Child through Tri-M, Elementary All-County, and Drama Club productions.

Looking toward the future, Madison plans to attend a four-year college to study Bioengineering. Her long-term goal is to create and develop advancements in medical equipment that will help people around the world.

Madison is the daughter of Erin and Jamie Robinson.

The Westmoreland Central School District and Westmoreland Teachers Association congratulate Madison on this well-deserved recognition. Her dedication, leadership, involvement, and commitment to serving others make her an outstanding representative of the Westmoreland community.

Congratulations, Maddie! We are proud of you
