Students at Westmoreland CSDβs Primary School recently welcomed the ICAN Mobile Museum for an exciting day of hands-on, play-based learning!
Through engaging STEAM activities, students had the opportunity to explore new ideas, experiment, use their imaginations, and discover the joy of learning through creativity and play. These interactive experiences encouraged students to ask questions, think critically, solve problems, and explore the world around them in a fun and meaningful way.
The ICAN Mobile Museum is an educational outreach program created by the Utica Childrenβs Museum. The program brings interactive, museum-style learning experiences directly to students, making education engaging, accessible, and exciting for young learners.
Hands-on activities like these help bring classroom concepts to life while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. By learning through exploration and discovery, students can build confidence, develop important skills, and make meaningful connections with what they are learning.
We are grateful to the ICAN Mobile Museum and the Utica Childrenβs Museum for visiting our Primary School and providing our students with such a fun and enriching educational experience!
At Westmoreland, we love opportunities that inspire our youngest learners to explore, create, and grow.
