Teacher nomination

Westmoreland Central School Jr./Sr. High School Music Teacher, Kristyn Cutler, has been nominated for the Manilow Music Teacher Award by parents in the community.

This award recognizes outstanding music teachers who help bring music to life for their students. Recipients will receive a $10,000, a $5,000 cash prize and a $5,000 Manilow Bucks credit that can be used to purchase instruments for the classroom. Nominees will participate in an online voting contest in their area and the top recipient will be selected for the Manilow Music Teacher Award. Anyone is eligible to vote.

Mrs. Cutler teaches music to grades 7-12 and she is also the marching band director. She goes above and beyond for our music program every year. “This is a well-deserved honor for Kristyn, so let's help her win this award,” said High School Principal Josh Saxton.

Voting will be live at 3:00 p.m. on June 27 to July 21 at 11:59 p.m. One vote is allowed per email address. The ceremony will take place on August 19, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. at the Turning Stone Casino.
