WESTMORELAND, N.Y.- On Monday, December 11, 2023, Westmoreland Central School District, the Westmoreland PTO, the Westmoreland non-instructional Union and the Westmoreland Teacher's Association will host the 2nd annual tree lighting!
This year, the event will honor and support the Michelle M. Adey Foundation. This is part of the district's Adopt-A-Charity Initiative for the 2023-24 school year. There will be a 50/50 raffle organized by our district's non-instructional union. One ticket is $2.00 or community members can purchase seven tickets for $5.00. There will also be basket raffles thanks to the Westmoreland Teacher's Association. Tickets for that will be $1 for one ticket, $5.00 for eight tickets and $10.00 for an arms length.
The Westmoreland PTO Santa Shop will provide children with a chance to shop for their loved ones! Everything in the shop is priced affordably. Venmo and cash will be accepted.
What is a tree lighting without Santa and Mrs. Claus? They'll be stopping by at 6:30 p.m. just in time for the tree lighting at the Primary Elementary School! So make sure you bring your Christmas list and don't forget to grab a cup of hot cocoa (available at the school) to stay warm for the big show!
