WESTMORELAND, N.Y.- A big round of applause for one of our high school seniors, Ashlynn Clanton, who has been honored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) with being selected to All-Eastern Division Honor Ensemble. Ashlynn will be singing in the Mixed Choir!
More than 2,000 student musicians from across the Northeast applied for the Eastern Division Honors Ensembles. She'll perform at the Eastern Division Honors Ensemble Festival on April 24-27 in Hartford, Connecticut. The festival is hosted by the Connecticut Music Educator Association.
Ashlynn is Westmoreland's first student to ever be selected for this ensemble! She will serve as a wonderful role model for our music department, school, and community. Congratulations to Ashlynn for all of her hard work! We're proud of you!
