The Westmoreland Central School District’s Zone for Imagination, Innovation and Inspiration (ZI3) is offering several workshops this fall for members of the community to enjoy.
Learn to bake scrumptious muffins just like Grandma used to and leave with a delicious treat! This fall, we are making wonderful apple cinnamon muffins, and you won’t want to miss it! All ingredients and materials will be supplied. Each participant will take home six of their own delicious muffins.

Artificial Intelligence Family Night
The Westmoreland Central School District continues to utilize a grant to fund STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) family nights focusing on artificial intelligence, and how it can help our community. This fall, families will learn how to create an animal classifier, preference guesser and emotion detector using artificial intelligence. Refreshments will be provided by the PTO.

Age: Students K-8 and their families

The perfect way to spend an evening is to relax and create a beautiful piece of art. Your instructor will guide you step-by-step through the creation of your own sunflower masterpiece. Bring your friends and make it a fun social event! All materials and refreshments will be provided.

Santa’s Workshop – Presented by the ZI3 Club
Make your own holiday gifts (or keep some for yourself)! Learn about 3D printing, make a sock snowman, laser engraved holiday mug and stuffed light-up Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, decorate some homemade holiday cookies and even take a virtual reality tour of Santa’s journey on Christmas Eve.

Fee: $5 per student age four and up with a parent/guardian
When is the last time you had a relaxing night out with your friends? If it’s been awhile, then it’s time to plan one! Gather your friends, grab some refreshments and make something fun!

Age: 10 and up
