A group of Upper Elementary School students were allowed to take a break from class to kick back, relax and enjoy the holiday season.
But, they had to earn it.
On December 19, a select, but very large group of third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students, watched “The Grinch” in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. However, in order to receive an invitation to watch the movie, students were required to have consistently followed the Upper Elementary School’s rules, “The Bulldog Four,” since October 1. The rules are:
-I will be responsible.
-I will give my best effort.
-I will be respectful and kind.
-I will be safe.
Teachers determined which students qualified for the holiday movie “incentive.” In addition to the movie, qualifying students were treated to popcorn donated by Marquee Cinemas in New Hartford.
The Upper Elementary School wishes everyone a happy holiday season!
