Team Lead at the Jr./Sr. High School did its part to give back during the holiday season.
The school club created a “giving tree.”
Located in the library for two weeks leading up to Christmas, students and staff members were asked to donate presents by hanging them on or placing them below the tree. The gifts, ranging from hats and gloves to toys to even a few monetary donations, were then given to the Westmoreland Kiwanis Club, which distributed them to some of the less fortunate families in our community.
Team Lead is open to students in grades 9-12 and currently has 25 members. The purpose of the club is to instill positive leadership qualities in students and give back to our community through a variety of community service initiatives.
