The Westmoreland Girls Varsity Volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on January 30.  Rachel V. with parents

The Lady Bulldogs defeated New York Mills, at home, three sets to none.

Before the start of the match, Westmoreland’s lone senior, Rachel VanDeusen, was honored. She, along with her parents, was introduced and given a flower courtesy of the Westmoreland Sports Boosters.

New York Mills’ seven seniors were also recognized.

In addition to celebrating Senior Night, the Westmoreland Girls Volleyball Program held a “Pink” benefit. All proceeds from admission, a bake sale and raffle were donated to support the fight against cancer.

Senior Night marked the Westmoreland Girls Varsity Volleyball team’s last match of the 2018-19 season. Unfortunately, the team did not qualify for sectionals.

Congratulations to senior, Rachel VanDeusen, and best of luck to the team next year!
