Three boys at a table with yearbooks

For the first time this school year, the entire Class of 2021 was able to gather in-person at school.

two students

Seniors who have been learning in-person and remotely joined one another for a yearbook dedication lunch – an annual tradition – on June 9. In order to comply with COVID-19 protocols, this year’s dedication and lunch were held in the Bus Garage, where ample space was available.

Lunch included sandwiches from DiOrio’s Supermarket. After lunch, every senior who ordered a yearbook was presented with their special keepsake by Mrs. Notaro, yearbook advisor. The 2020-21 yearbook was dedicated to Mr. Smith, Jr./Sr. High School business teacher and business advisor for the yearbook.

Seniors were given time to look through and sign each other’s yearbooks. The afternoon concluded with outdoor games and graduation rehearsal on the football field.

During the event, several teachers and other district staff members stopped by to wish the seniors well.
