CAPITAL PROJECT 2024: We have added a webinar to our capital project page that describes building a turf field, injuries on turf vs. grass, etc. This video provides a lot of information for those who need to know more about turf or have any questions about it. This current school year's increase in state aid for Westmoreland was $244,397. The proposal for 2024-25 is to take it all back.

There will be a food distribution tomorrow, January 22 at 1 p.m. at the Country Pantry located at the Church of Annunciation in Clark Mills.

Our media productions class made sales pitches this week! Each pitch was 2-3 minutes long and they had to convince their classmates to buy a product they're passionate about! Students chose dumbbells, the Roku and a phone case that acts as a wallet. They all did very well!



Governor Hochul's proposed budget would mean a cut of $237,098 in operating aid for Westmoreland Central School District for the 2024-25 school year. This will be disastrous to programs we worked hard to build.

NEW YEAR NEW GOAL: Reading is a crucial part of growing and learning, which is why it's important to not only read in school but at home. Maybe your New Years resolution is to read more with your child. We are here to help with that! Our first "Science Behind Reading" workshop is Tuesday, January 16 at Sauquoit Valley.
