Last night, Seniors Michael Scalise and Tessie Shafer were invited to Onondaga Community College for the Scholar Athlete Dinner! They received a plaque and a scholarship! What a way to finish out the year! You make the Bulldogs proud!
PRIMARY ELEMENTARY PARENTS/GUARDIANS: The first grade field trip to the town park that was scheduled for Wednesday, June 14 has been moved to Tuesday, June 13 due to the weather.
Emma Szarek made us proud on Friday! She placed 3rd in the 800 Meters with a school record time of 2:16.80 at the NYS Track and Field Championships in Middletown! Awesome job, Emma!
On Friday, 8th and 9th grade students in Mr. Mulvihill's class had the opportunity to ask Ken Schrock, from NASA, questions about space and what it's like! He zoomed with them in the High School Auditorium!

This is Trevor Haskell, the principal of the Upper Elementary with a quick announcement regarding the field trip to the Syracuse Mets game tomorrow. Due to the unfortunate air quality we are currently facing, the Syracuse Mets have canceled education day at the ballpark tomorrow, June 7th. We will not be going on the field trip and we will have a regular scheduled day (day 2) at school. We will continue to monitor the air quality for tomorrow's recess and any outdoor activities.

The class of 2023 is so awesome! During their senior BBQ today, Dakota Sill along with the rest of the senior class, dedicated the yearbook to Mrs. Weissenberger who is retiring after 30 years! CONGRATULATIONS TO EMMA SZAREK! She will be representing Westmoreland Central School at the New York State Track & Field Championships next Friday in Middletown, NY! The 8th grader took 1st place in the 800 meter with a time of 2:19.74, last night at Cicero-North Syracuse High School to qualify for the NYS Championships!

The Westmoreland Lady Bulldogs are Section III Champions! Earlier this week in Little Falls, Marlee Shafer, Jackie Downs, Tessie Shafer and Emma Szarek took first place in the 4 x 800 Meter Relay race with a school record time of 10:15.89! Emma Szarek also earned a Sectional Championship in the 800 Meter race. The girls will travel to Cicero-North Syracuse next week to compete in the New York State qualifier track meet. Congratulations!
